Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms (Apple App Store)

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Manage your subscription by going to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

  • Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled according to Google Play's Refund Policy.

Platform EULA Reference

For iOS users, this app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

For Android users, your use is also subject to Google Play Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Huvo mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Huvo is operated by Larna AI Ltd.

2. Description of Service

Huvo is a personal memory preservation and journaling application that allows you to:

  • Capture Memories: Save photos, videos, voice notes, text notes, and emotional reflections
  • Organize Collections: Create and manage memory collections and journals
  • Private Storage: Securely store your personal memories in the cloud
  • Emotion Tracking: Record and reflect on your emotional states over time
  • Voice Memos: Record and store voice notes attached to memories
  • Media Management: Upload, organize, and view photos and videos

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Age Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
  • Users under 18 must have parental consent
  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Subscription Options

Huvo offers the following subscription plans:

Huvo Premium:

  • Monthly: £2.99 per month
  • Annual: £19.99 per year (save 44%)

Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency in the app stores.

4.2 Billing and Payments

  • Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage subscriptions in your device's account settings

4.3 Free Trials

  • New users may be eligible for a free trial period
  • You will be charged when the trial period ends unless cancelled
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased

4.4 Refunds

  • Refund requests are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies
  • We do not provide direct refunds for subscription fees

5. User Content and Data

5.1 Your Content

  • You retain full ownership of all content you create (photos, videos, notes, voice memos)
  • You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content for service operation
  • Your memories and content are private and not shared with other users
  • You are responsible for the content you upload and store

5.2 Content Restrictions

You may not upload content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains illegal material or violates applicable laws

5.3 Data Storage

  • Your data is stored securely using Firebase Cloud services
  • Media files are stored in Firebase Storage with encryption
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data

6. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes:

  • Account information (email, name, profile photo)
  • Memories and content you create (photos, videos, notes, voice memos)
  • Emotion tracking data you choose to record
  • Device information and usage analytics
  • Push notification tokens for reminders

7. Acceptable Use Policy

7.1 Permitted Uses

  • Personal memory preservation and journaling
  • Storing and organizing your personal photos, videos, and notes
  • Recording personal voice memos and reflections
  • Tracking your emotional well-being

7.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the App to store or distribute illegal content
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Overload or interfere with the service infrastructure

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Rights

  • The App, its design, features, and functionality are our intellectual property
  • Huvo and Larna trademarks and branding are protected
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App

8.2 Your Content License

  • You grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display your content for service operation
  • This license is limited to what's necessary to provide the service
  • The license terminates when you delete content or close your account

9. Data Retention and Deletion

9.1 Your Data

  • Your memories and content are retained while your account is active
  • You can delete individual memories at any time
  • You can request full account deletion through the App settings

9.2 Account Deletion

  • Account deletion removes all personal data within 30 days
  • Backups may retain encrypted data for up to 90 days for disaster recovery
  • Some data may be retained if required by law

10. Service Availability and Modifications

  • We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features with notice
  • Major changes will be communicated through the App or email
  • We regularly release updates for security and functionality improvements

11. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We are not liable for data loss due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • You should maintain your own backups of important memories

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

  • You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings
  • Cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings
  • Termination does not entitle you to refunds for unused subscription periods

12.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your account for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • Technical or security reasons

13. Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom
  • Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted
  • Small claims court disputes are excluded from arbitration

14. General Provisions

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us
  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • We may update these Terms with notice through the App or email
  • Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance
